Your visit to Venice 2024: discover all the news!

Venice is a rare gem, and a walk through its magical streets is an experience not to be missed during your holiday in Italy Camping Village. The ‘Ancient City’ attracts visitors from all over the world because of its unique beauty, and this large influx of tourists is putting a strain on the delicate ecosystem of the lagoon city.
This is how the ‘Venice Access Fee’ was created.
In an attempt to protect and preserve the historic centre as much as possible, the city council has decided to introduce an entrance fee starting from April 2024.
This tax will be in force from 8.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the following days:
– 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th April 2024
– 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th May 2024
– 8th, 9th, 15th, 16th, 22nd, 23rd, 29th, 30th June 2024
– 6th, 7th, 13th and 14th July 2024
To visit Venice, an online reservation and the purchase of an entrance ticket is required. The cost of the ticket is €5 per person, children under 14 are exempt from paying.
How to purchase the ticket:
The entrance ticket must be purchased online, through the portal https://cda.ve.it/en/, you will be issued with a nominative QR code that you must show once in the city.
Travellers without a ticket risk a fine ranging from 50 to 300 euros.
