Visiting Venice is a unique experience

Located just a few minutes from the Punta Sabbioni terminal, the main gateway to Venice and the charming islands of the lagoon, such as Murano, Burano and Torcello, it is the perfect base for exploring the city. If you decide to discover the charm of Venice, you can take advantage of the excellent public bus and motorboat services.
In addition to public transport, from mid-June to mid-September, guests can use a special ATVO bus service from Union Lido (and Camping Italy) to Punta Sabbioni and back, every day except Sundays and public holidays.
‘Venice access fee’
In order to protect and preserve the historic centre as much as possible, the municipal council has decided to introduce an entry tax starting in April 2024.
How to purchase a ticket:
The entry ticket must be purchased online through the dedicated portal https://cda.ve.it/en.
A personalised QR code will be issued, which must be shown when checked in the city.
Travellers without a ticket risk a fine ranging from £50 to £300.
